PE and Sports Premium Funding
What is PE and Sports Premium Funding?
This Government funding aims to improve the quality of PE and sports provision in primary schools across England. It provides additional funding directly to schools, allowing them to enrich their PE curriculum, offer new opportunities for physical activity, and encourage the development of healthy habits among students.
Each school will receive £16,000 plus an extra £10 per pupil each year for the next two years - here at Little Digmoor Primary School that will mean around £16,800 a year. The money can only be spent on sport and PE provision in schools.
