Welcome to our Y2 Fieldmice class who are taught by Mrs Heaton and Mrs Beeley (Associate teacher.)
Welcome to our Year 2 class! We are looking forward to an exciting year of learning, growth, and exploration. Our goal is to create a positive and supportive environment where every child feels confident, valued, and inspired to reach their full potential.
Throughout the year, we’ll be embracing a holistic approach to learning, nurturing each child’s academic, social, emotional, and creative development. We aim to foster independence and curiosity, gradually preparing pupils for the transition to Year 3.
Physical Education (PE) remains a vital part of our curriculum, with lessons designed to develop agility, balance, and teamwork. Please ensure your child has a PE kit consisting of a white t-shirt, black shorts, and a pair of black pumps or suitable trainers. PE days may vary throughout the year, so keep an eye on our updates.
Over the course of the year, pupils will engage in meaningful and exciting learning experiences that spark curiosity and build confidence. Our curriculum is designed to provide rich, varied opportunities that cater to different learning styles and interests, helping each child thrive and grow.
